If left on for a few minutes, there is light heat from the processor. I noticed the S10e doesn’t have this feature. I was able to have my phone on lock or asleep on my desk yet still see that I received a notification due to the blinking light. The main reason you would to want disable the Galaxy S6 Edge LED notification feature would be able to keep your messages and notifications.
